Where And How Can I Travel!!!
Do I travel solo or do I travel with my partner. Do I travel with my family or do I travel with my friends and above all where do I travel?
This question has crossed my mind several times and I am sure many of you share the same sentiments. Is there a right answer?

No, because it all depends on individual or group preferences.

Travel, no doubt brings you either good or bad experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. In this context it is recommended that before venturing out it is best to build confidence by taking short weekend getaways.
Some might choose to disagree with this notion and that is their prerogative, however for the general good it is a mindset worth getting used to.

First time travelers exploring strange destinations could find it a daunting task to travel with uncertainties whether traveling with a group, family or solo. But the joys of exploring the unknown lands, languages, peoples and cultures cannot be experienced unless one has taken the first step to venture out.

It’s an experience which is unique to every traveler. Meeting other travelers of different cultures in casual settings at restaurants bars and at fun events is part of the nature of travel.

Writing about experiences and gathering a wealth of information on the go could be shared in a blog.

Wonderful things happen when you venture out. Sure there are downsides to travel like getting sick just before engaging in an amazing adventure. These are small drawbacks and minor setbacks.

This blog bin was created to draw interest from people who are seasoned travellers and writers and people who have experienced travel for the first time.

Your travel experiences and any story for that matter are important to us.

Either or travelling is a wonderful xperience. I have travelled solo for long periods of time and love the opportunity to stay longer or just move on when I want. Also to get up early and/or stay in bed as nobody is relying on you.

I have also enjoyed the structure of tours that motivates you to see the culture and experience a country.

Travelling with a partner is also special it allows you to share your experiences, maybe even get a photo of yourself while travelling. It allows you to share ideas and places to see as 2 heads are better than one. Sharing costs, as your biggest cost is accommodation when travelling so you get better deals. Its also a way of sharing the fun, the laughter, the adventure and life long memories together.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful place to travel and a tour would be the ultimate getting you about the country with a local guide allows you to really appreciate a country that has the most Unesco sites of any country. Its so diverse and the people are magic.

Whatever you choose travel Sri Lanka with the experts.

Hi guys,

I tend to disagree with the article in this link at Optus news.

http://www.optuszoo.com.au/news/top/news-com-au/are-aussie-travellers-worlds-most-boring/936777

I find travelling to different locations relaxing as well. To say "Australians are increasingly becoming creatures of habit when it comes to traveling" is a ludicrous generalisation. I disagree with some aspects of this survey.

What are your thoughts. I would love to receive your replies?

I have not experienced traveling sole. I would love to try it out one day. But I find there is a new trend emerging in solo travel with people who have lost their partners from a divorce. What is the most obvious answer to this trend. Also there are a lot of female travellers wanting to know whether it is safe to travel alone in Sri Lanka. Are there any females who have travled alone in Sri Lanka? Would love to hear from you.

I remember a few years ago when employed over seas assisting one of my colleagues to travel and witness the beauty of Sri Lanka on her own. She was a pretty girl in her late twenties. From what I recall, she mentioned her experience was very good. However, I must admit I had arranged my dad's very good friend, who was a tour guide to take her around.
My view is that Sri Lanka is a relatively safe place to travel, but you have to be a bit smart and not put yourself out there to invite trouble or search for trouble if you get what I mean. I guess the same goes for any place you travel to.
I believe travelling with another or a few others is best as it increases the fun factor and your safety as well. There are a few things you might venture into as a group but not by yourself which may or may not necessarily end up well depending on your perspective. However it won’t be short of everlasting memories. If you have seen ‘Hangover’ you will get my point.
When I travel alone I find my self wishing that some one was with me as it is difficult to describe some moments unless you truly experience it. I recall a trip I made with a good friend of mine and my dad to the Maasai Mara in Kenya. There were so many episodes that actually could not be expressed through the lenses of a camera. I could endeavour to describe the atmosphere of being surrounded by a herd of over a thousand wild buffalo or the chanting of the Maasai People as they did a tribal dance advancing towards us, however I would not be doing justice to the moment.

When I travel on business to Sri Lanka, I will always keep a few days to travel the country and visit places.

Through all my travel throughout the world, Sri Lanka is my No. 1 destination for travel. Even though it is a small island, this small island offers it all.

There is so much to do in this island. You can visit ancient cities, lots of great temples, pristine golden beaches, wild national parks filled with all the natural wonders, water adventures, beautiful tea estates to visit (the best tea in the world comes from Sri Lanka), the country is filled with such beautiful essence and beauty.

Sri Lanka is not only great for tourism but due to its strategic location and soil content, this country is blessed with loads of natural resources.

The East American Group, www.eastamericangroup.com
has partnered with several organic and conventional estates in Sri Lanka to export Tea, Spices, Rice, Coconut and other great products to the rest of the world. We offer quality bulk loose products from Sri Lanka and packaged products for private label.

There are so many things to do it is hard to do it all in one holiday. When it comes to island holidays, I believe Sri Lanka tops it all with its warm people, sunny climate and exciting adventures.
I am looking forward to my next trip to this beautiful island of paradise.
